A cool idea - let me see if I can come up with one. It might take a bit for me to get around to this, however…

Would it be possible/feasible to make a Traps template (see Dungeon Fantasy 2, page 19-20)? I've been fooling around with converting Grimtooth's Traps to GURPS and thought this would be a better place to post them than to the SJG Fora.

Adding tags is a good start. But if you have the time, by all means add a page for Glorantha which lists all pages tagged this way (the existing index pages should give you an idea how to do that).

Even if you don't do anything more than that, this is still a wiki - someone else might just continue the work on the setting.

Should a page be created for settings that don't have a strong effort of conversion behind them? I added a monster from Glorantha (the Runequest setting) and will probably add a bit more Glorantha stuff, but at the moment I have no interest in pumping out a lot of conversion notes. Should I make a Glorantha page or are tags enough?

I posted a couple NPCs here a while back and I'm interested to see if anyone has any comments or suggestions. There are places in each one where I am not sure if I handled things in the best way and a fresh point of view is always helpful.

Mimsey Grant is a "best friend" type supporting character for a Modern-Day Supernatural campaign; an "apprentice witch" who has inherited a magical bookstore from her sorcerous grandfather and is learning the magic arts from the store's cat (who in fact is her grandfather)

Major John Jeroboam Hunter is a clockwork cyborg fighter for a Steampunk campaign; a veteran of the Indian Wars who had the body parts he lost in combat replaced by mechanical prosthetics.

Do they seem like workable characters? Do their stats hang together? Is there a better way to build them? Should I post more? I'm interested in reading feedback.

As a long time fan of Babylon 5 I've always been fascinated by their "Jumpgate" technology, which in GURPS terms most closely resembles a Jump Gate described on page 19 of GURPS Spaceships. The main differences between GURPS and Babylon 5 hyperspace seem to be;

  1. the need to "open a jumppoint" to enter and exit hyperspace,
  2. the ability to loiter at the same relative position to the nearest strong gravity well in normal space without power (subject to gravitic drift), and
  3. the ability to detect other ships and maneuver relative to them and fixed hyperspace landmarks (ie. "jumpgate beacons").

As the above characteristics seemed to make dramatic sense in Babylon 5, I decided to incorporate some of them in my personal hyperspace rule set1, with a few variations. For an example of a ship constructed using these rules, see the Pathfinder class Mobile Jump Gate. If anyone is interested, I will add a page here describing the setting in more detail.

oo first to get to post, let me start by saying thanks for creating this wonderful resource I have found it to be invaluable in helping me with my games.

with that said I handle magic in a unique way I think. to make is flow easy I make rolls and levels of magic based on college skill but where i deviate from normal games I make the players attain gains in play.
they first must find a school of the arts in a town or city then attain membership either by payment or quest then achieve gaining colleges by raising in grades that is part of the schools curriculum. various masters in the schools are in charge of the different colleges. http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/valahn-fantasy-grounds/wikis/magic

it is nothing special but i have found it to be a very fun way of adding vibrancy to my game world.
