Nazi - Gestapo Agent, 1937
rating: 0+x

By Michele A.

Hans Pfeiffer is an intermediate-rank Gestapo agent, working for the Hamburg office in 1937. He served in the trenches in 1918 as a raw recruit, fought the Communists in the streets a year later, and joined the Nazi party relatively late. After a bitter period of unemployment, he landed a job as a uniformed, beat cop in 1925, and, while working his way up the ranks, he still struggled to make ends meet through to 1933. He married and divorced. As soon as the Gestapo was created, he was transferred and promoted.
Pfeiffer is a bit more than a leather-clad goon; his years in the criminal police gave him actual policeman skills, which he puts to good use in cracking down on whatever remains of underground Communist activity still simmering in Hamburg. That said, he's a thoroughly unlikeable run-of-the-mill Nazi.
Pfeiffer has brown hair and eyes, a forgettable face, and a somewhat chubby build. Height: 5'10", weight: 170 lbs., age: 40.

Intimidation and Reputation:

While Pfeiffer can go undercover if he deems it necessary (and his forgettable face helps him there), this is not the standard operating procedure for the Gestapo. He normally relies on the fact that ordinary citizens fear his agency, and most people will recognize his leather trenchcoat as a clear indication. The negative Reputation will actually help him if he tries to use his Intimidation skill on persons who are aware he is a Gestapo agent.

Notes
Parry score is bare-handed (Brawling).
