Ghoul Fever (Resisted by HT): Blood (ghoul bite); HT+1 to resist; 1 day delay; 1d-2 toxic damage; 24-hour cycle with infinite cycles. Symptoms include moderate pain (p. B428) after losing 1/3 HP, severe pain (p. B428) after losing 1/2 HP, and terrible pain (p. B428) after losing 2/3 HP. Not contagious other than by ghoul bite. Since someone who dies of ghoul fever rises as a ghoul the next midnight, it has many chances to spread the disease.
Paralysis (Resisted by HT): Follow-up to bite or claws; Victim is paralyzed for a number of seconds equal to the margin of failure. After that, he is stunned until he can make a HT roll. Elves are immune to this effect.
