Variants
Many variants exist. Among them are:
- the mind spider, whose magical web suffocates and is invisible until touched, as well as the spider
- the hunting spider, whose bite delivers a poison (1d toxic (Resist HT-4), moderate pain after 1/3 HP lost, secondary heart attack)
- the web-spinner, whose web has ST 12, DR 4, suffocates and lasts an hour.
