Nazi - Generic German Tanker, 1941
rating: 0+x

By Michele A.

This Oberfeldwebel is a generic German armor NCO, albeit rather experienced and successful as it's 1941 and he's been campaigning since 1939. He's so generic that no personal Advantages or Disadvantages are provided. Even his Reputation stems from his career: he has several service awards, plus the Tank Combat Badge. Most of those who identify these awards will have a better reaction.
This sergeant, having already been in service back in 1938, has received a rather complete training as an infantryman, too (even though he has now forgotten his few hours with the bajonet). Also, he has had the time, during the winter of 1940, to attend a NCO course, which, coupled with his veteran status, makes him better than most of his counterparts in many other armies. He refined or gained some of his skills during that course.
By now, he has served as a tank driver, then gunner, and now he's a tank commander. He's no Nazi, actually, but he does have personal motivation.
He has one peculiarity: he likes doing his own recon on foot, dismounting and scouting around his tank to find good firing positions. That's part of his training, but most of his colleagues dislike that chore. The equipment listed below is what he'd carry on such a short mission away from his tank; the gun is the one SMG most German tanks carried exactly for this purpose. The helmet is war booty, a bulky French-issue item he keeps as a trophy.
Height: 5'7", weight: 145 lbs., age: 21. Like many tankers, he's not overly tall.
