What does he look like? It's hard to say. He's dark-haired and handsome in an average sort of way. He likes to dress well in nice suits. But the odds are very good you'll never meet him in person. He'll contact you, as a message on your computer, or your cell phone; or maybe he'll just appear on your television one day. All you'll see is a digitally-obscured outline of a man with a deep baritone voice. He has a job for you.

I originally created Python as an NPC patron for a Secret Heroes campaign. He was a mysterious figure who seemed to know everything about the PCs and who contacted them via computer/cell phone/TV/whatever. His big secret was that he was actually a member of a criminal orginization of Supers called Nephilim, and that he was using the PCs as pawns in his own game against his employers.
There's no need to use the Nephilim subplot, though. Python could just be a reclusive philanthropist who wants to form a supers team for other reasons. Just eliminate the Nephilim-related disads.
Although originally concieved as a party patron, Python could also be a formidable villain.
His powers would also fit in a non-supers Psionics campaign, or possibly a supernatural one.
- This guy just appeared on your TV, right in the middle of Celebrety Hockey. He's on all the other channels too. He knows about your secret and says he's willing to help you… if you'll do something for him.
- While investigating a crime, the PCs discover electronic evidence being altered, or in some cases destroyed. Who is behind it?
