A common trap on a book, this puts whoever opens it in suspended animation. If the book is still there after the suspended animation ends, you can read the book.

Detect: Per-based Thaumatology, or Perception + Magery for mages, at -6.
Disarm: No.
Circumvent: Automatic (don't open the book).
Evade: Resist Will.
Effects: The reader falls into suspended animation (per the spell) for one day by which he failed his resistance roll.
Shots: 1.
Rearm: No.
Steal: Automatic, but wouldn't you like to read the book?
